Sykora in Blue? I think so. Not sure about the date, but first thing next year.

I don't know. But I'm sure that Burke's asking price has gone up.

well i was actually talking about the last 3 weeks or so of his play....and i stated to mean that a sykora for a poti deal straight up is still not within reason if it was being so talked about before the frezze...but thatnks for chiming in. i mean how else would i lose 15 secs of my life for no reason...

According to nhl 2k6, not so. i pulled off this trade in franchise. Hossa led the ducks to the cup after scorin 37-48 points in the postseason. If only we had those numbers

You all tell me you want guys who can skate but also be physical and rough the other team up. Well, how about getting a few of those? I would be willing to deal guys such as Nylander, Weekes, Rucchin, Nieminen, Poti...for goal scorers who may not be amazing necessarily but are younger and in their low-mid 20's. Also some nice role players who can skate and play the rough game. Some guys I'd be interested in who I think are available would be:
Ronald Petrovicky, Taylor Pyatt, Adam Mair, Vaclav Varada, Richard Zednik, Sheldon Souray, Mathew Barnaby, Jassen Cullimore, Vitali Vishnevsky, Glen Murray, Chris Clark, Brian Sutherby, Darcy Hordichuk

You are willing to deal players like Nylander and Weekes for the likes of Mair, Clark, or Hordichuk?

Weekes I don't know for about those guys, but yes, I am not a Nylander fan at all, I'd give him up in an instant and give someone else a shot

1) What makes you think that these guys are available?

2) You have to look at the contract.

3) Mair is not a physical.

Not being a fan of and realistic trade value are two different things. So, once you trade Nylander for Hortichuk, does that mean that Rucchin becomes your 2nd line center? Or are you trading Rucchin for the rights to Tiger Williams?

No it means I'm calling up Imonen or another nice youngster to play the 2nd line center position. Moore is also a possibility. And it does't necessarily have to be Nylander for Darcy straight up, but nice job picking the worse guy on the list
