Is that a serious question? Since when do guys get suspended against the Rangers? Ok, Matt Cooke. But how about anything else? They'll look at it and say, "Oh, he was just spitting and DZ happened to be there"

The fact that Kopecky got no suspension and Steve Downie wasn't suspended at all for coming off the bench after Anisimov's goal, leads me to believe absolutely nothing will come of this incident with Subban.

Both players said they were unaware of the "incident". It wasn't intentional

Because Subban is supposed to say "I spit on him"? Come on, now.

Bickel was benched after the Habs 2nd goal. The Rangers went with 5 D. Staal played with Bickel,Stralman,Girardi and DZ. Staal and DZ were paired in the 3rd period for a handful of shifts. DZ can still make the stretch pass from the right side. He made them paired with Staal. MTL was not really pressuring the Rangers at that point and the Rangers just wanted the clock to run out but DZ looked like he had experience playing RD. Sullivan threw out some so many combinations without Bickel. In the Leaf game,Girardi played with both McD and Staal during 1 shift. G had a two minute shift. Looked like Sullivan was experimenting with DZ on the right with Staal on the left. Game was essentially over. DZ can see more of the ice of the right side. Maybe DZ played the right side in junior.

Camera angles--hard to say.

BTW I would love Subban on the Rangers. MDZ being unaware of it I can understand. Subban not so much. He's been involved in a bunch of controversial incidents since he came into the league. He's a talented player but he's also a real jerk when he's got his skates on anyway. Might have been just as he said--might not.

just based on your name i see u have an inherent bias but i wont disagree that step has been one of our better players of late.

i never said anything about richards but as long as the pp is brutal his production will be down. and as long as sully is running it, it will be bad. i dont think he has totally settled in to the team's lineup yet. he and cally dont excite me. look for kreider to join that line next year.

This game will easily be forgotten once the Rangers tally off another 5 game win streak to end the month. It seems to be their M.O.

I'm really pumped for the Nashville and Boston games. 2 teams playing really good hockey.
