By what I saw, looks like he has the potential to be a more offensive Taylor Pyatt.

That is quite the compliment. Good for him.

Thanks for answering. I keep hoping that they find a sniper. One more Vrbata should do the trick.

I actually really enjoy watching Brule play....hustles a ton and isnt afraid to throw a hit. He also has a better hockey sense in the offensive zone that i did not expect. I think he will have a solid finish to the year in Tip's system.

His ability has never been the problem. Health and consistency are the concern. He has probably had many stretches of games in which he looked like a tiny Doan. They've just been too few and too far between. That's his game, though, when he can play it.

Crossing my fingers that he continues at a pace of 2 points every 3 games from here on out, just to kinda put a big ''screw you'' towards the Oilers.

Like the Oil are any competition for the Canucks.... I always thought it was San Jose who was the big competition.

All western Canadian teams hate each other.

Got that right, and with the way he was shafted by Edmonton - it's good to see.

'tis true.

It looks like Brule is chipping in a bit so far.

3 goals in 7 games is nice. Turris has 4 in 19 for Ottawa. Just sayin.

Turris is also getting a lot more ice time. Around 17 minutes a game.

Turris has about a .68ppg average while Brule has about a .54ppg with PHX.

Pretty good for PHX, especially when you add in the fact they have Rundblad as well.

I'd love to see Brule's career take off with you guys.

Brule has chipped in nicely so far, but he has made a few risky passes that led to turnovers just inside the offensive blue line that he got away with.
hope that doesn't continue and the points do.

Oiler fan in peace... I'm just wondering how Brule is doing? I always liked him when he was in Edmonton, I hope he can finally find his game because when he's on it he's good.

Brule has been good for us and he even scored tonight in Game 5.
