Just hope for avoiding a slow start by the Caps.

Gotta get these 2 pts. Shut down Tavares line and should be ok.

Hopefully the Isles will be intimidated.

Unless I missed the addition previously, it would seem we've added two new banners to the rafters on F Street tonight.

Moar banners please!

Those were there at opening night (or at least one of them was) and then taken down. No idea why they'd put them back up, and now of all times.

Well, if management thinks it ain't gonna get better than that, we may as well celebrate it, right?

Wow. Did not realize they actually put up "REGULAR SEASON EASTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS" banners. Yikes.

i think they should take them all down and validate the reality that this franchise has never won anything.

5 should be in the rafters and nothing else. only cup banners.

Agree 99%. I'd keep 32 also. The rest could go.

I'd leave up the President's trophy banner as well, outside NA usually winning the league is considered best team over the full season. I still think its impressive. 5, 32, and 37 would be the only numbers I'd have retired.

Lots of games tonite

Many teams in the East that are vying for playoff positioning. Halfway there, we need to keep it rolling at home.

This is another big 2pts. Gotta hold serve at home against a team like this. If we are going to hit 100pts or so, and make the playoffs, this is a where we need to bank the 2pts (and get back into first in SE)

The basketball commercial? Absolutely brutal. Luckily I'm watching the Islanders' feed on actual TV.

I love the ability Semin and Backstrom have to smoothly manipulate the puck with these crooked, unexpected angles. Works out for Semin less often than Backstrom though.

Semin and Hunter are a match.

He's been a lot better recently, i wouldn't trade him right now.
