I feel the same since there are no Crosby, can't miss type players in that draft. I think Timmins does a better job in later rounds so I would rather try to make the playoffs and if we're out of it near the deadline, PG should liquidate assets for picks.

Ideal scenario at this point is to barely make the playoffs and knock the Bruins out in 1st round. Don't care what happens after that.

That would save the season for me.

Josh Georges Comedian

On TSN this morning they had a segment on Rene Bourque playing the Caps the first time since he elbowed backstrom.
I choked on my Special K/red berries when Josh Georges said the team would back him up if he had any problems.
Georges couldn't have been serious..they should have asked Patches about that.

Biggest disapointment in the league this year in my opinion. LA comes close too.
I'd have to give Buffalo the title on this one personally.

Hey guys,

Have not seen some Habs game for awhile now, Campoli and the Noek has been scratched for tonight, was that expected? Campoli was maybe only scratched once with the Sens so a little perplexied if they are looking to trade him immedetley?

Rds pure stole my theory of Plekanec's play and his baby's birth. They made a story about it today. They completely lifted my idea/

Although it hasn't always ended up in victories, I think the Habs have played pretty well the last few games and I hope it continues. Go HABS!

Montreal is alternating their bottom 3/4 Dmen in and out of the lineup. Yemelin, Campoli, and Weber have all taken turns on the bench in favour of the other guys.

The bottom pairing defenseman have been switching frequently. We won last game with Campoli out, so that's likely why he's benched again.

I know Erskine didn't play last night for the Caps but is he injured or was he a scratch? That guy can really hurt someone with a punch, I hope he isn't playing and going after Bourque

Erskine is not on the Caps injured list. Probably a healthy scratch. His last game was Jan. 9th

Unless Bourque feels honour-bound to fight the toughest guy on the team, he won't have to oblige Erskine.

If he does fight, it will probably be someone like Chimera, Brouwer or maybe Hendricks.

Ya I noticed that on the NHL site, they had him as a scratch last night but was wondering maybe if he had been hurt. I really hope he isn't in the lineup, guy is a beast and I'm afraid he goes after Bourque

Don't worry Gill will hug the **** out of Erskine so bad he will abandon his quest to seek revenge for Backstrom.
