In terms of Ottawa, that would probably mean:
1st
Foligno
Stone, Noesen, Puempel, Zibi (Silfverberg is not touchable, at all)
2nd

We also lose probably the ability to resign a prospect in the future, such as Silvermountain. (Rick Nash is a 7.8m cap-hit) I would NOT do it.
Yeah, doesn't really fit our needs very well.

Ottawa is definitely not building a Boston type of game. It was said since day 1 that we want to be a high tempo puck possession team. Rather obvious when you take the assistant coach from detroit who has a similar philosophy.
Detroit is about as tough as Montreal lol. Detroit has some solid grit, especially from their finesse players like Zetterberg and Datsyuk, but they are by no means tough.

Sure there are some similarities in terms of the high tempo puck possession style, but MacLean is a different coach than Babcock. MacLean was a very similar player to Jarome Iginla when he played. He highly values toughness, physicality and fights.

Murray isn't building his team off of Detroit. Murray appears to be building a team that combines the high tempo puck possession style of Detroit, with the grit, toughness, physicality and work ethic of Boston and 2007 Anaheim.

I wouldn't want to give up Stone or Foligno, they will both be too valuable to the sens to move.
