I love these 4pm start times way out yonder. Anyways I have a good feeling about this game. Just don't play flat, take it to them, be sharp and we should come out with two points. Let's do this.

Expected CBJ line-up

Prospal - Brassard - Nash
Johansen - Vermette - Kubalik
Russell (Ryan) - Pahlsson - Dorsett
Gilles - MacKenzie - Boll

Tyutin - Nikitin
Methot - Moore
Johnson - Savard

I'm guessing Sanford in net

For the record the IR would be:
Umberger, Carter, Huselius, Letestu, Martinek, and Wisniewski
(Mason just sucks)

it took me forever to log in! and also bad start. don't look horrible.. but we're getting out-chanced and out-hit by the worst team in the NHL

not horrible.. but not good whatsoever. pucks been in our zone 75% of the time. no great chances for cbj but they are out hitting us and out chancing us.

I'll put it this way, I'm on break from grad school right now, have been enjoying sleeping in most mornings, I got up at 8am to watch this game and so far I probably should have stayed in bed.

I havent found myself not being able to watch a game due to boredom in a long time.... I just cant keep my eyes on the tv. Just listening to it.

Even then, listening to this game is boring

other than craig smith's good chance from his backhand.. we have had no good scoring chances. periods like these make you realize what weber/suter mean when they want to be on a winning team with offense.

I wonder what Poile thinks when he sees a game or period like this?

Poile "ugh, we havent scored in 5 periods (now 6) Im gonna get us Brandon Yip! That'll convince Ryan and Shea!" YIPPE!!!!

no hook the HD up!! it's not that bad

but seriously... if the score wasn't 0-0, i'd be a little more dramatic. we do have rinne in net. but for us to be where we are in the standings and coming off being shutout on national tv AND playing against the worst team in the NHL, its sad to see the amount of effort i saw in that first period. simply being out worked and no creativity on offense whatsoever.. and thats why we're being outshot 13-7 by the last place blue jackets.
