I agree with this ! Its crazy, but i actually feel like we should still win this one.Just need a quick goal and then its game on ! But our D certainly needs to tighten it up.Give the Isles credit though, they are moving their legs and making things happen !

the only way we win is if we get one within first 2 minutes.

ends either 3-2 win or 3-0 loss..

thats how i see it.

Same thing happened in the playoffs last season against the Bruins. Lavi is not good at matching up lines against others. I mean come on, our fourth line in against the Islanders top line??

Either way Bob has played an amazing game so we can take something good from the first two periods.

Who else is hearing the off air feed?

"Stick up for the players?...." Saying it in almost disgust.

I think a number 1 defenseman is what we need.

I really do have a soft spot for the Isles. Is there another team that does more with less? Most underrated top line in the NHL by a country mile.

That being said, for ****s sake its the Isles! 1. Get the fore-check going and pressure the puck carrier (no more easy outlets) 2. Match their intensity! Is this the softest/cutest Flyers team of all time? 3. Get Schenn off the point on the PP. The umbrella works sure but we need to show some more looks from time to time and get some more traffic in front of the net. Where are my ugly Flyer goals? Comfort food since 1972. Lavi make some in game adjustments for Christ's sake! The Isles are cheating defensively and looking to break up that cross ice pass every time, How did teams nullify Mike Richards? They kept it on the half boards or fed the puck from the back of the net.

Best game Bobrovsky has played since last year's season opener against the Pens. Worst game team D has looked since Winnipeg.

Lets see how they start the 3rd...

Unfortunately, if they do not change the way they play, it's not going to hapen.

The offence is too sluppy with the first pass that puts them behind in tempo. And then they start scrambling to chase the puck alowing break aways.

The team does not look coached at all, they look like a pick-up hockey team that has never practiced together before.

And as some of us have been saying for quite some time- Lavi needs to have his feet held close to the fire.

There are no fires on "Dry Island" and for good reason

i think both goalies are playing really well, but unfortunately one goalie is being left out to dry with "free" breakaway training night...

I really love Voracek, he's great @ carrying the puck, but he sucks w/ the type of powerplay we run... utterly useless. Couturier would be a much, much better choice to be sitting in Voracek's spot waiting for 1-timers.
