Our offense put up 1 goal. This was simply a combination of everything except goaltending. Our defense is flat out pitiful, and an emphasis is put on it when our coach doesn't have the confidence to put out two damn defenseman during a powerplay.

They deserve it. Other than a few moments in the last 5min, this has been one of the worst games I've seen in a few years. I'd have to think back to some of those 07 games.

Remember when Nabokov basically refused to play for the Isles? Whatever happened with that?

I'm not sure why. I think it is a reasonable and simple question--at what point does past performance cease to become a justification for excusing poor present form (or, more specifically, poor effort as well as execution)?

If our defense didn't suck, this probably would of been a 1-1 games going into OT. Bob was damn good and holy **** is this a wake up call to ****ing go out and get someone like Gleason.

Exactly, no team will ever win built that way.

Horribad defense + weak goal + passes to no one + trying to pass through the other team's players = worst game

Well, that was a crappy game from a team d perspective. Can't make that many individual mistakes and give up such a ridiculous amount of turnovers, and expect to get away with it.

We need to do something about Giroux and Jagr as well. They were absolutely terrible tonight. When Giroux makes two sloppy passes on the same shift, you know there's something that just ain't right.

Meh. Onto the next game.

Read addressed that question a minute ago on post-game radio. He acknowledged a developed chemistry and comfort on a line with Simmons and Couturier.

He is a consistent 50+ pt player. I'm not following you when you say he doesn't get hot till the playoffs.
