Pretty solid. Stickhandles better than Carkner and Phillips, and I didn't see him make any HUGE mistakes.

Was caught making slow decisions at times, allowing the Sharks to force him into giving the puck away, but that's part of getting used to the speed of the NHL.

Stache doesn't really trust him too too much though. I don't think he saw any ice for the first half of the 3rd period when the game was still in the balance, but that's also part of being a rookie and playing his first game.

He had a good solid first game and played almost 15 minutes. He stuck to his defensive D role and made safe plays without any big errors.

Good enough for me to throw him into my avy

He was pretty good. Threw some nice hits, kept calm with the puck, and played his game - simple, effective hockey. Was solid positionally - broke up a would be scoring chance in the slot by using the body on the Sharks forward before he could get control of the puck.

I really liked Borocop's passing. Very crisp.

Scoring goals in other cities: it's a Turris Attraction.

Boro was solid indeed! Only nitpick: he seemed to be a bit late on closing angles on shots, or maybe he was just misjudging them. It often seemed to me that the forward had plenty to shoot at and that Boro wasn't coming back soon enough.

So if both Daug and Smith are fine, is this what we're going to see tomorrow:

Greening - Spezza - Petersson
Michalek - Turris - Alfie
Foligno - Smith - Neil
Daug - Konopka - Condra

This is what I came in to find out. Glad they're okay. Still hoping Peterssen will be in on Saturday. Borocop looked decent I thought.

Hilarious that Murrays first draft with the Senators (2007 don't count) already has 4 players that have played a game at the NHL level, and possibly 5 on Saturday

e: need boro sister pics
e2: for a project
e3: don't ask what the project is

Funny but Phillips seemed to play better on his off side maybe Boro is a better match for him.

Agreed. Came with high hopes for a muffin but leave disappointed.

Also: Petersson's twitter pic is way too funny.

In today's society if you are A: Not horribly ugly, B: Not fat the general population will claim the person to be "hot". Always confuses me at work when people go on and on about "Oh did you see that hot girl over there?" and when you do it's nothing special.

It's always funny when fans of other teams make cracks about "how they'll never beat a team full of all-stars" and then their team loses.

I'd actually prefer if other teams keep taking the Senators lightly.

Fan bases don't reflect actual teams though.
San Jose came out the games with a lot of umph, you could tell they were trying to overwhelm us. They just couldn't handle Turris

Very pleased with Boro. Good skater. Makes good passes. I didn't spot any mistakes in his game tonight. From what he showed, I'd rather have him in the line up over lee and especially Carkner. At even strength I'm more comfortable seeing Boro than I am seeing Phillips/Carkner/Lee.

Andy just has to keep us within 1 until the 2nd period it seems lately. The Paulrus barks at them and they come out much stronger.
