I thought I would start a thread for the 2011-2011 Petes season.

Training Camp for 2011-12 started today with the fitness testing - anyone have some feedback?

Whats the goaltending situation they have morrison right?? how bout for backup spot.

Morrison is back from the NHL rookie camps. Played last night and looked solid. D'Agostini is also playing well (7-1 home opener win vs. Oshawa). Giugovaz rounds out the goalie team.

Through the first two regular season games, the team looks good and the potential is there.

Great comeback tonight in Barrie - shame they lost in OT, but they picked up a point in the last 90 seconds by scoring 3 goals. Unfortunately, everyone was standing around when Locke potted the OT winner.

The Petes, as well as Barrie, look to have really improved this year. When Watson, Puempeil, & Yogan develop some chemistry & start to click they will make the Petes dangerous. Quine, Lino M, & Ritchie look good together - add in a better defense & goaltending, and things are starting to look up for Petes fans.

Ritchie is looking good early in his rookie season - the Petes had a good draft this year.

Ritchie has always been my favourite Minor Midget player last year and the kid is big AND very skilled. To believe that he's still 15 is the freaky part! Brilliant pick for the Petes and someone who will help the club out a lot.
