If Perry + Getzlaf were coming back on a silver platter extended and we were giving Subban+ maybe I wouldn't be too pissed off. I'd kill to have either of those players let alone both. Have a hard time understanding how that team is doing THIS badly even if their goaltending and D have been shakey.

What a crock of ****. These rabid media *******s are just kidney-shoting gauthier.

Subban is not on the block, never was and never will be. Why do you morons keep falling for this?

The media have their agenda, they're not Habs fans like we are, or the team is. Jesus F. Christ.

Send a message via MSN to WeThreeKings
I'd consider heavily rooting for another team.

I would do the same kind of trade

Neal-Niskanen for Goligoski (Subban)
Stewart-Shattenkirk for E. Johnson (Subban)

What kind of a question is that?

It depends.

Would anyone be mad if Gauthier flipped Subban for Malkin...no.(Yes it won't happen, I know).
Would be people be mad if he flipped Subban for Cam Jassen...yes.

How the hell should I know if I will be mad or not if I have no idea what the return is.

It is very unlikely that we'd trade him for something worthwhile, so I'd probably be very upset. The guy's gonna be a stud in this league and if we were to panic and trade him away, we'll be losing out on our first homegrown, non-goalie star potential player in a while. I shudder to think of how far that would set us back.

Both deals worked out very well for the Pens and Blues. I do think PK is worth a little more do

St Louis also traded their 1st rounder along with EJ. Can you imagine us trading PK and our 1st? It's better I don't answer

Subban + for Shea Weber

I'd be so happy like Sam B.

He is definitely a player you would hope for in return. Weber is top 3 behind Chara and Lidstrom. However he is a RFA and would need to be signed for a long contract, therefore if PG trades for him and doesn't have an extension signed I'd be really ****ing pissed

PK worth a little more? EJ was a first overall pick...I think that tag alone makes him worth a little more than PK. He's also a much better player imo even though he still has a lot to prove.

Well... really man what else is there to talk about? The latest shutout loss? The great elite prospect on the horizon? Our chances of winning a cup this year?

It's pretty bleak out there right now dude.

It's very close IMO. PK IMO developed faster. As I said the other day regarding this trade the reason the Blues didn't care about such a trade is cause they had an even better player in Pietrangelo. If we trade Subban well we always have Kaberle

PK only worth more in Habs fan's head. He's good, and he's going to be good, but no way he has more value than a #1 overall pick Erik Johnson.

Like Habs for Life said, Weber will be RFA at the end of the year...same thing with Subban.

Apparently he is the next Bobby Orr by the responses so far, more value than #99

he is 26 and 27 in July 2012 , just to risky to trade for him unless he commits to a new deal WHICH he'd be a dummy to do ...

UFA PAY DAY pick his own spot.

we got Subban for 5 more years....

Weber walks asap ...

Just too risky, cause i don't think he'd sign a new deal in MTL(Weber) this close to UFA

also HOW DO you fit a 8,5 million Weber on this team?

You know better than that. It's all related to the return, or in this case, the sub par return we would get because our GM is Pierre Gauthier.

It won't happen because LA wouldn't do it but how about Kopitar & 2nd for Subban?
