Really, though, they're just not that good. Not when the opposition is playing with much of any pace. Normally not this sloppy but never really all that crisp.

Gotta say I'm not impressed by JJ's work with the D so far. One might say that they are holding teams to fewer goals, but the problem is that the passive play and inability to clear the zone makes it impossible to succeed on offense. I don't know if there is a method to Dale's madness, but he had better start putting in more work with simple things like accurate passes, controlling passes, etc. It has been bush league.

Our cycle is absolute crap. Has Dale worked on it in the last 3 weeks? We crowd our own guys for God's sake. There's no movement away from the puck, no spacing whatsoever.

I know it's easier to blame a coach (or coaches, as in Dale and Bruce) but the issue with this team has more to do with the players then then the coaches.
