So this is a defensive system we're implementing...

I find it very offensive. :rimshot:

Really, though, they're just not that good. Not when the opposition is playing with much of any pace. Normally not this sloppy but never really all that crisp.

Carlson's hurting this team so much more than he's helping right now. It's sad in its own way.

I think we are trying to set an NHL record for icing in a season. I'm really perplexed by how many pucks go under, over, and around our sticks.

Its like watching BB's run-and-gun without the offense.

No blame can fall on TVO tonight. He's kept it from being at least 4-0 by now.

If I was Ovechkin I would be embarassed. His effort is a joke.

Gotta say I'm not impressed by JJ's work with the D so far. One might say that they are holding teams to fewer goals, but the problem is that the passive play and inability to clear the zone makes it impossible to succeed on offense. I don't know if there is a method to Dale's madness, but he had better start putting in more work with simple things like accurate passes, controlling passes, etc. It has been bush league.

They're about six guys short of a team.

Can we get Regehr already? This is just pathetic watching teams buzz around in our zone and no punishment. Every day is just torment wondering if GMGM does anything.

Our cycle is absolute crap. Has Dale worked on it in the last 3 weeks? We crowd our own guys for God's sake. There's no movement away from the puck, no spacing whatsoever.

I know it's easier to blame a coach (or coaches, as in Dale and Bruce) but the issue with this team has more to do with the players then then the coaches.

Yeah we need another slow defenseman! Couldn't score on a hooker on nickel night and we need a slow lumbering defender!

Well, we're down two. Unless we score on the what I'm guessing will be 6 or 7 shots we take in the third, you can write this one off.

Vokoun should punch all 18 skaters in the face during intermission.

What the hell was Orlov doing? Should have just rimmed the puck and then totally out of position.
