I absolutely love the numbers. Especially the #2 in that style. One of my favorites.

That Methot is nice!

From the Blue Line's development/training camp blowout the past several games:

2006 Aaron Johnson Training Camp

2007 Trent Vogelhuber Development Camp

2007 Derek Dorsett Development Camp

2007 Grant Clitsome Development Camp

All but the Johnson have no wear whatsoever. I doubt they were actually worn or if they were, it wasn't for long. They were likely made up 'in case' and then not used because they played with a different color jersey or some such. I have Boll and Mason jerseys I got from a collector and they are dramatically more beat up...though they were likely worn during two camps vs these.

Camp jerseys without a lot of wear are, more or less, kind of lame, but IMO, when you can get a prospect or current player in a weird number, I think it's pretty neat.

Mark surprised me with that. Very nice of him. The guys at the Blue Line have always been great to work with.

And yeah, I know...hard to pass up things like this, since I know most of them will vaporize into local fans' closets, I feel compelled to jump at stuff I like.

Totally understand that. It keeps me up at nights thinking about all of the hidden treasures people have in the closets that will never see the light of day.

Every now and again I think about that as well, specifically where the Pelletier Lowell Lock Monsters and new style Phoenix Coyotes jerseys are.

I have been looking to video match my Brassard jersey. Think I have a few videos. Look at the Hyundai Patch.

Heres another.

Very likely could be a match.

John it looks like you picked the training camp jerseys dry. I did not see anything interesting tonight, but I did pick up something from the game worn stand that I have already been able to photo match. I will post pics tomorrow.

Mark said they should be getting a set of new jerseys in at the end of the month (he said there was one more box of prospect jerseys that hadn't come up yet).

Here is what I picked up last night. Anton Stralman 2010-2011 Set 2 game used jersey. The jersey has some good wear including 3 small holes that have been repaired and one unrepaired hole. I have also been able to photomatch it. Also I found out a couple of interesting items about the differences between Set 1 and Set 2 of these jerseys. The 10th season patches are oriented in different ways and the set tags are sewn in different locations.

I keep putting off getting a road version of this jersey and did not have many $250 ones to pick from. It was Stralman, Russell or Commador. The Russell had very little wear so I passed on it and you can guess why I passed on the Commador. It took me less then a half hour to photo match so I was happy with the choice.

You don't have to justify it to me, I have a Pushor jersey :^)

Honestly, a few years ago I would've loved a Commodore jersey. I'm half tempted to get one now that Arniel is gone and it's kind of looking like it was more Arny than Commie being the bigger problem between the two.

Nice to have a match. I found a great one for one of mine that I've been meaning to post. Always kind of fun to find a good one, even if it's a goal against. Look at the puck marks on the right shoulder, and elsewhere.

Obviously not a jersey, but thought these beauties have gained a little interest in light of Dorse's improved play. I got them at the 2010 Blacktie Blue Jackets fundraiser. He is a chippy little guy even in that setting. I was actually bidding against him on another silent auction for some baseball events, and when he finally reached a point I couldn't match, I told him I was also bidding on a package including game tickets, pregame penalty box access, and his gloves. I asked if he'd at least let me win that one. He looked at me and said, "Well it's not like I can't get another pair of my OWN gloves...."

He's a doodle...
