This game is big! Need these 2 points to move ourselves up and halt the Panthers progress. Go Jets Go!

Is Kane scratched, or is he really sick?

Darren Ford tweeted that Fehr has been moved to the first line. Thoughts?

It's times like these that captain Andrew Ladd needs to prove why he's wearing the "C". Someone on the Jets needs to step it up tonight and grab this game by the horns!!! Those Washington Capitals are not going anywhere...let's do this!!!

I'm liking the Bro GDT 2. I say we keep it going as long as we're winning (which means another one for next game).

Good read on Stuart in the Free Press today. He's my favourite Jet (for everything the article talks about) and its nice to see him get some recognition in the media.

Bro Jets Bro!

I have a feeling that Kane is actually being scratched due to attitude issues. I follow him on Twitter and he's been tweeting some pretty weird stuff lately about haters and how they aren't real fans.

Could be nothing, but who knows.

Even though Kaner missed some passes and great opportunities last game, he still seemed to at least be giving it the 'ol college try. It wasn't for lack of effort - but no finish. Wonder when that concussion happened...

LET'S GO BROS!!!

Where did Kane sustain a concussion? It worries me a bit because he's taken some hard hits before.

i always love looking in on the jets boards-it always has a kid in the candy store attitude. Every game is such excitement and such gratitude for having the team back.

Anyways should be interesting game tonight. The panthers have been horrid on back to backs this year and are playing like complete **** lately.

Cheers.

Also I want to note: As soon as the jets move out of the SE i'll prob become a big fan of the team.

Burmistrov has been very disappointing after a good start to the season. He still has tremendous potential but it's almost painful to watch his offensive play at times. He doesn't seem to be making good passes when he has the puck and he doesn't seem to get open when he doesn't. It looks like a lack of confidence at this point. He's got a ton of skill and the effort is always clearly there so I still believe he'll turn it around. Having some offensively capable linemates to work with and not being bounced around to a different line every night would be helpful.

With Kane out, hopefully Ladd moves up and Burmi can play beside Antropov.

I agree, his skating and puck handling is great, but sometimes it seems he just doesn't have the offensive awareness/vision to make that big play once he gets into the offensive zone. I can't remember the last time he made a great pass to an open man, or was that open man himself.

But given his skating and aggression he's very good at chasing the puck and back-checking. It just seems that once he actually gets the puck it's like

Well, if Kane doesn't have a concussion (Though I think he does) he can be told that there's a nice suburb in LA we can send him to.

Big game tonight!! Really hope to see the same level of effort that we had against Buffalo. Sure those guys were not playing well, but the Jets were still skating better than they had for a while.

WJG, I checked out some of those Kane tweets. Yikes! Some of these young athletes really need to lay off Twitter. He's sounding like a punk.

YWGinYYZ, I didn't get to say it in the last PGT, but those Star Wars images were amazing. You are very talented.

Not spreading any rumors. I just read his tweets and he sounds like a punk.

And I'm starting to get a little tired of the "well, he's young" talk.

Was Toews tweeting things like "haters gonna hate"? when he was 20?

No, he was just the captain of the Blackhawks, put up 34 goals, and then 13 points in 17 playoff games.

I agree, those were.... Odd

I don't know the context they were sent in, but people gotta remember context and tone don't come across well on the Internet. I'll give it a pass this time, could the message be don't tweet with a concussion?

You might want to consider what others in this town have been tweeting to him. If you consider that (or read up on it) you'll see that he's actually being quite constrained about it. Although it is getting to him.
