No idea if he actually bites the glove or not, but he opens his mouth to do it.

He gets face washed and he punches Staal in the stomach. I was above the scrum, it was nothing and if it was he'd get called and Staal would have dropped him. He was also screaming at Staal for tossing him down, hence the scrum.

Realistically, the Bruins are a tough enough team when we are healthy with decent goaltending.

This will be another miserable defeat...and if its not lol at the Bruins for being so pathetic.

Gotta think the lines will be:

Hartnell-Giroux-Schenn
Read-Couturier-Simmonds
Voracek-Talbot-HarryZ/Sestito
Shelly-Holmstrom-Harryz/Sesito

I'd honestly rather go with a Voracek-Holmstrom-Talbot line, with a Shelly-HarryZ-Sestito 4th line. We already know those players wont play much anyway so might as well make a 3rd line that can do something.

Call me crazy but I think we're going to win. Briere has been dead weight all season, this gives the Giroux line a chance at new life with Schenn on wing. It gives Schenn an opportunity to prove he's a good player in an injury riddled, underwhelming season. It will give more minutes to Couturier and Read. Simmonds has been excellent of late, as has Hartnell. The young guys need a chance to flourish and this is it.

I want to say shutout, but not gonna happen against Boston.

Although with Briere out, we might 3 decent defensive lines.

Why not reward Simmer for last night?

Hartnell-Giroux-Simmonds
Read-Couturier-Voracek
Talbot-Schenn-Zolnierczyk
Sestito-Holmstrom-Shelley

Simmonds and Hartnell do the same job, so they would be better served on different lines, IMHO. I do think that Schenn should stay at C. Flip Voracek and Simmonds.

i know a lot of people probably won't agree with me bc he hasn't done a whol lot this season to instill confidence in the flyers fanbase but... bryz has totaly earned a start today. 2 starts with only one goal given per game(yes i know minny was all smoke and mirrors) and with 3 major pieces hurt(48 21 68 and don't forget 20) this a game bryz HAS to have a chance to steal for us. i know he's created a stigma in this towm already but its time to hand him the reigns in a big game situation with a playoff atmosphere and really see if bryz can pack some punch in his thermos or if he should spend every clutch situation on the bench.

Yeah, good thing for the Boston fans that the Pats will be on the other channel, because once the Flyers are up 5-1 or so they'll probably want to switch over to watch the Pats lose a much closer game.

I agree. Boston is going to be out for blood after losing to the rags yesterday. We just need to be ready to dance if that is how the beaner's want to play.

Guys & Gals, keep it under wraps today. Don't add fuel to the fire. Keep it on the game. Bruins fans are welcomed to discuss the game. Just keep it clean and within the site rules.

Let's go Flyers, let's overcome the injuries and win today! Hope our goalies have a great game!

Most likely Talbot. He wore it earlier in the year.

I'm almost tempted to bet the Bruins 3-way line at +120. Almost.
