Just spit ballin

Stafford
Roy
Regehr

Ryan
Lydman
2012 2nd

Ducks get a great shut down dman elite 2nd line center with a good 2nd line winger.
Sabres get a 40 goal pwf (with pp time) to play with Vanek a good dman who you're familiar with and 2nd round pick any where from 30-60 at this point
FIRE AWAY

I don't really see the need to shake up the team right now, we're playing well, and yes it would be nice to have Roy on board, but right now we have both Koivu and Bonino playing well along with the whole team.

Any deal should be done in the off-season IMO

giving up roy without a center coming back cripples our already lacking center depth. Although the value is definitely there

That's about the only thing that's wrong with this deal, but I'd do it anyways. Any interest in taking out the 2nd rounder and adding Holland? We could add a 2nd on our end to even it out.

I'd happily take the trade as a Sabres, but this is more of a shakeup trade. The Sabres are past a shakeup trade and in full tank mode. In other words, they'll want to add as many draft picks (preferably 1st and 2nd rounders) and/or prospects as possible for the off-season.

This is a fair proposal, if anything Anaheim definitely benefits more....but I would do it just to bring a change in the locker room.

I still don't really like it because regEhr would not have a spot on the top 4 at ES assuming Sbisa keeps his play up
