2010-11 All-Concussed Team vs. 2011-12 All-Concussed Team

Which of these two teams is the better team?

2010-2011 All-Concussed Team:

Franzen-Crosby-Gaborik
McDonald-B. Richards-Hemsky
Perron-Tavares-Pominville
Pacioretty-Savard-Knuble

Lydman-Doughty
Stuart-Green
Hamhuis-Meszaros
Schultz

Hiller
Pavelec

2011-2012 All-Concussed Team:

E. Kane-Crosby-Skinner
Briere-Giroux-JVR
McDonald-M. Richards-Gagne
Latendresse-Kruger-Mueller

Weber-Pronger
Staal-Letang
Hedman-Pitkanen
Liles

Miller
Reimer

(As to why Crosby is on both All-Concussed teams, it's because he had concussions in both seasons; otherwise I could have Crosby replaced by Krejci on the 2010-11 team)

Bouchard or Latendresse should be on the 2011-12 team.

Put Latendresse as the 4C on the 2011-12 team.

Latendresse and PMB aren't centers. And both are better than Colby Armstrong.

Fixed for you. Kruger is back as 4C but Armstrong has been replaced by Latendresse.

Now, it's obvious the 2011-12 team is much better.

Definitely the 11-12 team. Look at that defense.

The 11-12 team is pretty stacked even without the Michaleks.

Even the 10-11 team showed that there were a lot of high-caliber players that got concussions.

Whats sad about this era of NHL is that we can make such a good roster out of concussed players

But team 11-12 for sure

Add Bäckström to the 11-12 team and it becomes even more clear.

Only doughty could crack the top four of the 11/12 team. That is a great defense.

11-12, but I think 12-13 will be even better.

The 10-11 team is a slightly modified version of an "All-Concussed Team" assembled by the Phoenix Star after Pacioretty got his concussion. Which means no Krejci, no Little and no Bourque (who were on the Phoenix Star's All-Concussed Team for 10-11 and replaced by Savard)

If Backstrom gets a concussion again in 12-13, Backstrom will make the 12-13 team.

I could have replaced Kruger by Backstrom but the team was stacked enough as it is.

Pretty sure Steen makes the 11-12 team. Eleven games and counting.

Who would you have Steen replace?

I'm kind of shocked that the 2010-11 team is so far behind in votes.

Hiller & Pavelec > Miller & Reimer
Tavares as the 3rd line center

Can't pass it up despite this year's team having a much better defense.

Mueller should be on both, and should be much higher than you have him currently

Well certainly everyone on the fourth line and both Gagne and JVR are debatable given that JVR hasn't reached his full potential and Gagne has declined from the player he once was. Steen has been such a consistent high-level player for the Blues. Makes any line better, fantastic hockey IQ, great two-way game (Steen-Backes-Oshie is as elite a two-way line as there is in the game, and Steen's no weak link).
