We'll likely see him back in 6 to 8 weeks. Standard for that kind of injury.

Does anyone else feel that Ward getting injured is going to hurt the team while he's out?

Considering this team is mostly soft up front and has a tendancy to collapse under pressure, while Ward is a big, energizing character player, then yes, I would have to say it cannot do us any good.

While I don't think it is a vital loss, it definately hurts when you lose a hard working player. I feel sorry for Ward more than anything else. He finally earned a full time NHL job and then this happens.

I think he's earned his spot, and when the time comes he will be back next to Begin and Langdon.

I'm dying to see Ward and Kilger on the same line.

Kilger-Begin-Ward against small teams... Langden-Kilger-Ward when we need scraps... I like it!
