After the last game against boston, I didn't even expect a point, so I am not disappointed..

Came away with back to back games with 3 of 4 points.

Jussi Jokinen and or Linus Omark will be Flyers soon.

Bryz was just so... average. I guess that is an improvement.

Then came the shootout....

Leights had some great games back to back and he NEVER cost this team what Bryz is getting..

Leights might not be a top NHL goalie but he was never guilty of what Bryz is right now.

What's that Ed? You'll never over pay for a goalie again?

I'm tired of hearing that we "need to play Bryz now if we want to get him ready for the playoffs." We might not even make the playoffs if Bryz keeps playing. It's time for him to ride the pine and for Bob to be given #1 duties. Bob's proven he can always be at least average.

Ask Bob, Boosh and Leighton.
It's pretty obvious Reese is not the problem.

Most R/O wins in the NHL, but they won't make the playoffs.

I have to give props to Schenn in this game...I was watching him most of the game and he looked strong out there...that hit was a thing of beauty. Really want to keep this guy and not trade him for a d man

Since I said they won't make the playoffs...

Basically, why coddle this guy when he's playing poorly in the regular season and has proven in the past that he can't handle the pressure of the playoffs, either?

Missed the game.
Was Bryz THAT bad?
As in much worse than Thomas? (who also gave up 5 goals????)
Or was it the D?
Or was it just one of those games?

We would have to have the worse collapse in NHL history to not make the playoffs LMAO! Dropping 10 points in 35 games is nigh on impossible, NY dropped 10 in 44 one year, sure that was the worst ever. ( 01-02 or 02-03, CBA checking), and even if you do, all the teams below also have to either keep their pace, or play better.

People think 10 points is 'losing 5 straight', but during that time the average non-playoff team will have gone 2-3, so only gained 4 points. Even if we play sub .500 hockey from now on we will still make the playoffs. We only need like 30 points from 35!

The team played very well, overall. Bryz on the other hand: http://video.nhl.com/videocenter/con...=sb:highlights (See: Goals 3, 5, and all shootout attempts)

SO is BS.
But doesn't look like thomas was good either. Seems like one of those games.

I'm interested to see how Bryz reacts.

And it's ridiculous to quote snyder on the "This will never happen again."

Who could've predicted bryz would be so inconsistent?

You guys are hilarious. Bryz has 2 great games, plays 1 MEDIOCRE to the best team in hockey, and we're back to missing the playoffs and playing for a lottery pick. If you read the Flyers board as a stranger to the sport, you'd think we were last in the league and losing every game by 10.

goal 5?
oh, the slam dunk from 4 inches out on, not a wrap-around by 1 player, but a behind the net flying 'hand off' to a criss-crossing player, then a pass out in front on the other side to an open stick?

yea, how could Bryz possible not have abticipated that one .. you see that what, 4-5 times a game??

Even Clement and Jackson, both of whom defend Bryz to death, admitted that Bryz was lazy and slow getting to the post with the pad down.

Boston announcers, who I heard - who ripped Bryz all game - said it was not his fault.

so you've proven nothing.

when was the last time you saw the ever popular "behind the net flying 'hand off' to a criss-crossing player, then a pass out in front on the other side to an open stick" play ?
