I think the dirtiest team would be the team with the most suspensions/instigator/kneeing/elbowing/hit to the head penalties, whomever they are (I don't really care to research). This poll is just going to be about what team you hate the most.

For the record, I don't think Vancouver is dirty at all (I think they're too whimpy to be dirty), and they're in 2nd in the poll. I wouldn't call it very accurate.
Ya, and boston doesn't whine, or dive? Ya I completly agree that van did dive a lot and we do whine a lot. But to say you don't dive or complain is just ludicrous. Do you need me to send you liks of that final, boston dove just as much as we did, boston is by far the diriest team, lucic runing miller? Oh ya clean. Marchand clipping. Nah that was clean right? Bull ****

Am I hearing this right? You actually think Daniel Sedin was trying to run at Marchand? Do you realize that Salo and Sedin are probably one of the most classiest players in the league? They would never legitimately cheap shot someone on purpose and for you to think that is ultimately embarrassing.

Take some credit for the dirtiness of your team and stop blaming it on players that have 100x more class than the player that actually made the illegal hit.

Tell you what, you point out where I said either Salo or Sedin were headshot artists and I'll bother to read more then one run on sentence in your post. Till then....

Yea, cause it's not like Burrows has ever hit a player in the head on a blindside check... right? Except... he did do just that to Rich Peverly in game 7 last year.

Its okay, I wouldn't expect much more anyways. Keep telling yourself that Daniel Sedin skated 10 feet to "run" Marchand.

it's only a matter of time before the bruins piss off enough teams in the league that they will start to experience significant ramifications to the way they feel they need to play. Bergeron, Horton, Krecji, Seidenberg, Ference, etc. are all very vulnerable to equal cheap or head shot responses from the other teams. karma's a biatch

Yet Matt Cooke is one of the Penguins only healthy players year by year.

Both fans of their own team. I guess dirty is a compliment to some.

He didn't do anything there, is the point that is being made. An assumption was made that he opened the door, with no evidence.

I can think of a couple dirty plays by Burrows - cross checking Brisebois in the face, and his hit on Dumont, for which he owned up and apologized. He is an agitator to be sure, but not in the sense of injuring guys like Marchand, Cooke, et al, or at least not close to the same category as them, IMO.

It's really funny when a Bruins player receives a good clean hit, all the Bruins just jump on you for no reason. Keep it up guys!!!

Oh see, but that's the beauty of the internet and the information age we currently live in. I don't have to tell myself anything, I can actually go to youtube and see that Sedin did in fact skate 10 feet without slowing down, looking to run Marchand.

I mean I know they look like ants and its actually looks like inches on TV, but that's actually 10 whole feet at least because reality the players aren't 3 inches tall (depending on your TV screen size of course) and a standard NHL rink isn't 3 feet long.

Maybe a better argument on your part would be that Sedin meant to stop, but forgot how to like that kid on the Mighty Ducks, but don't let me tell you how to formulate an argument. If you wish to stick with an easily disprovable one, so be it but the whole "but Canucks players are beyond reproach" angle isn't really going to get you far.

Anyone else think its funny that the two "dirtiest teams in the league" played in the Stanley Cup Finals last year? I'd bet a lot of you would embrace being the "dirtiest team in the league" if it got you to the Cup Finals.

Oh well.

And Vancouver is a good dirty team as well. Why change what clearly works? It boggles my mind that people get so ******** about the Bruins/Canucks when theyre two of the elite teams in the NHL.
