Shelley sure didn't keep Briere from getting run against the devils.

i think overall the forwards held there own against the "big bad bruins" yesterday but they do not have any grit on defense at all.

So if enforcers are to "protect" players and they cannot? ....

I guess those pro fighter-only players would say we would have twice as many concussed players if not for Shelley putting the fear of god into opponents!

That's one reason I brought up Hal Gill. Coburn is not nearly mean enough to go toe to toe with some of these guys. Hal Gill has seen them enough that he wouldn't be afraid, he's even played for them anyways. Doesn't have to be a top-line defenseman, just go be Hal Gill.

I hope so too. He can't play much hockey but he keeps the other team on it's toes. I'd love to see some of him and Rinaldo in the same lineup. Heat seeking missles both of them.

I think you're underestmating Sestitos hockey skill. He's put up some pretty good numbers in the AHL, which definitely means that he can do more than just fight and play physical. I know that AHL success =/= NHL success from an offensive stand, but he brings a lot more to the table than what some people give him credit for

Him and Rinaldo centered by Z on the 4th line would be great.

Sestito earned a place on the permanent roster yesterday. He skates pretty well for a big guy, and has decent hands at times too.

The fact he took on Lucic and lived set the tone for the whole game.
