Ryan Miller to Toronto?

If Buffalo were lookin to move Miller, what would be a fair return from Toronto? I really have no idea when it comes to goalie's value these days, and I doubt most members here do as well so please keep the flames in Calgary...

Reimer + 1st in 2012

Miller

Obviously Toronto has to clear some cap space to make it work...

No thanks. Dont want to waste that much cap space, and spend those assets.

Toronto would have to be higher than any human in history has ever gotten to consider this.

what's with the anti-Miller comments? Is he concussed or something?

I would love Miller on the Leafs and the Sabres would be dumb to trade him within the division.

Seems kind of pointless for Buffalo.

I don't think the Sabres want to sell low on Miller.

I really don't think Miller is going anywhere, He and Enroth are the corner stones of this franchise. They would never trade within the division anyway.

I was thinking something around Schenn for Miller

Reunite Schenn with Myers
Wilson and Burke have a history with Miller

It's silly, because if Buffalo did move the face of their franchise, it's not going to be to a bitter division rival.

Miller to Toronto minus the assets to get him would not change our soft team and make it weaker offensively and with less assets..and no cash

bad idea

If it's Schenn in the deal, I'd do that deal if I were the Sabres GM.

The Sabres won't do a deal like that. But, I would.

No way Buffalo does that trade. As many have said, these two make for very unlikely trading partners.

Burke was the Team USA GM and Wilson was the Team USA head coach when Miller had his career highlight to date in leading the US to the silver medal at the 2010 Olympics.

This should be a no from both teams. Buffalo wouldn't risk Miller coming back to haunt them 8 games a year for years to come and Toronto would be stupid to trade their 1st round draft pick in this years draft.

Let's just watch the Sabre's wallow in despair.

Seen it time and time again -- new owner comes in and thinks he can buy a team -- only thing he buys is complacency.

Did he not win the Vezina that year as well?

I like despair. It will land us a high pick!!! I hope despair continues.
