If you're looking to trade for Keith Yandle, it will be a one for one trade for a forward, most likely a center. All-star D for all-star Forward. Coyotes will not trade a quarter for 5 nickels (or even 6 nickels for that matter).

It looks like there are no real local ownership prospects.

Move Doan for a 1st and a 2nd

Move Whitney for a 2nd and a 3rd

Move Aucoin for a 3rd and a 4th

Watch us plummet down the standings

Draft Grigorenko or Galchenyuk.

Boom. Got a center.
Phoenix doesn't have a great record for developing young offensive prospects, and I don't think they would pick another Russian.

That's all fine and dandy if you believe the organization will have the same home city, ownership, management, coaching, and staff next season.

Well if whoever takes over gets rid of that coaching staff I would really question that move. Tippett is a fabulous coach, he would not be unemployed very long. Without him that team would have been drafting in the top 10 the last couple seasons and would be lottery bound this year in my opinion.

Tippett has been in either Texas, California or Arizona since 1994. I don't think after 18 years in the Southwest, he's just dying to go live in Quebec City. I seriously doubt it. He's too good. He can get a job anywhere he wants. Any low budget team should be DYING to add him. Nothing against QC, and I mean that. I'd love to go there, but I'm pretty young. Tippett probably doesn't feel the need.
