Wow, that just never, ever gets old. Sad to see the BJ's series end so soon this year.

I have to admit with every game that goes by I am more and more keen to the idea of doing something drastic at the deadline and going for it.

The thing is Josi and Ellis are really playing a big part of the team's surge right now. It would have to be up to Poile to make a big acquisition without giving one of them up. Not sure if that's even possible.

I dunno. Poile's team construction strategy looking pretty solid right now.

I say Poile should do whatever he thinks is right, and let the chips fall where they may with regards to Suter.

If Suter signs(and I think he will), great...

If not, use the money earmarked for him to buy a decent replacement and let Ellis and Josi continue to get better.

Congrats to Peks!
Almost as impressive?

Klein and Josi have been on the ice for just two ES GA in the last nine games.

If the NHL had the relegation rules the Premier League does in England for soccer, the Blue Jackets would never see the NHL again.

That's amazing! It's hard to think this D isn't the best in the NHL..

Rick Nash. He'd single-handedly beat the AHL all-stars. The guy is awesome, and I'd love if he was a Pred. I know there is like a zero % chance of that happening, but a man can dream.

I saw a shot of Nash on the bench last night, and I thought, I'll bet he's thinking, "Man, what I would give to be traded to Nashville right now. These guys have it awesome."

If Fish can remain hot (damn all star break), we're dancing into the playoffs.

Fish isn't gonna' carry us in. We need him to play well for sure, and his on-ice leadership is great, but this is built as a TEAM and we need them all to stay focused. We just can't keep having 2nd periods like this. anxious for Chicago tonight to see if we're up to the challenge.

Do ya'll think Rinne will be in net again tonight?

Toronto and Edmonton would have been gone years ago as well.

Yeah. Pete Weber seems to think he will as well. He stated as much this morning.

"Pekka, don't you need a rest?"

Nice.

He'll also have five days to rest after tonight's game.

Does anyone feel bad for the blue jackets and their fans? Personally I don't, but I hope the fans stand up and demand change though. The whole organization is ugly

I feel bad for the fans ... don't like the fans mind you, but feel bad for them. It's bad enough that they have to live in Columbus ...

(Oh how I hate Ohio State)

Was scanning the CBJ hfboards yesterday and saw someone post that he saw on twitter a writer post: "Anonymous GM told me the NHL should buy the Blue Jackets and fold the team." (quoted as best I remember it). That would be tough to hear as a fan ... WAIT ... very much what we've put up with prior to and after the rally; and even today from some Canadian writers ... subbing "move" for "fold."

I do too. I like beating them, but I hope it gets better for them in the years to come. I believe Columbus is committed to the BJs for many years to come. I've got friends up there and I have been to a game there too to watch our Preds.

I do feel badly for the passionate fans who have stuck with the team for all these years with nothing but one 4 game sweep in the postseason to show for it.

I remember being a Preds fan in the early days and I dont believe this franchise had more than one or two years where we were so clearly non-competitive with the rest of the league...
