Does anyone here subscribe to it? If yes, how long did it take you to get the "free gift" keychain? Do they send it after you've paid for the subscription? (that reminds me, I gotta do that next week)
It should take about 4 to 6 weeks. I had to phone when mine didn't arrive and then it arrived.

I don't think they send it out until you ask. I've subscribed for 5 years now, they used to give away free hats and I never got one so I complained and they send me this cheap, cheap hat!

I am now 20 years old and I have been a subscriber since I was 9. No lie. I decided not to renew it recently... I talked to some guy there who is apparently "in charge" and iw as wondering why I see the hockey news on newstands 3-4 days before I recieve mine in the mail and I couldnt get a good reply blah blah whatever. And through the 10 years i recieved 2 hockey news hats,,,, **** hats, nothing worth wearing or keeping. besides crap like that it is definatly worth getting.
The Hockey News is very good in my opinio,n though it is a little dated once it arrives. I ordered mine about a month ago or so and haven't yet received my Red Wings keychain.
Ive subscribed for years and i dont think ive recieved any gifts. Im lucky to get the yearbook before the season starts. And I live on the IL side of Stlouis, So they always put a blackhawk on its cover.
I've neen having a ton of problems with THN lately, delivery wise. The last issue I got was 9/23, and delivery also stopped in the early summer for some reason.
I know this has nothing to do with the keychain question, but I'm getting pretty pissed about all this.
I did, however, get my Devils keychain (I resubscribed a year ago after they stopped coming --so yeah, it's been three stoppages in delivery in a years time) a few weeks after I paid the bill.
Yea, They sent me a really really cheap Sabres hat. I was going to call them up and ask why they put the "check your favorite hockey team" box on my old subscription.I mean, there was no sort of hanging chad or anything because Washington is alll the wayy at the bottom and Buffalo near the top...
