You nailed it, 1 more win!!! Let's go into the All Star Break with a tie for 2nd or 3rd in division. However, Chicago will be wanting revenge pretty bad. But they have no Sharp or Toews, so let's take it to em.

I think it's gonna be 15-0 Hawks. Triple hat trick for Hossa

In all seriousness, 3-2 Preds

This will be a very tough match. They will want payback for that drubbing Sat. Night. And it's our turn playing the back to back. Let's go Preds, this would be a huge statement win going into the playoffs

Preds eyeing the all-star break... come out with their bags already packed for a short vacation and their minds on auto-pilot. I'm expecting the worst in this one, because that's often what we get in these big games. The double whammy of a huge matchup, and the looming days off are a recipe for disaster.

I hope to be proven wrong, but it's one of those things where you just have to expect the usual until something different happens.

Hawks 5
Preds 2

I'm going to go ahead and say it - for as good as Hornqvist is in front of the net, he is equally bad at even strength with the puck. If you are looking at an area that would be upgraded in the top 6 - that is the spot IMO. The next spot would be Fisher being bumped down to the third line role.

If you get an AK kind of player, you bump horny to forth line and stick him on the power play.

Wilson Legwand AK
SK Fisher Erat
Borque Spaling Tootoo
Halis Smtih Hornqvist

Damnnnnnnnn I would gladly take that line up at forward against anyone with yip and smithson as backup

Got a bad feeling about tonight, hope the boys prove me wrong

Stalberg-Toews-Kane
Shaw-Kruger-Hossa
Brunette-Bolland-Hayes
Frolik-Mayers-Smith
Bickell

Without Toews and Sharp that is one average looking forward corps on paper. The center depth in particular is horrendous. I'm thinking they might move Kane to center tonight Of course if you add Toews and Sharp to that line up it is down right scary.

Should have a leg up with Toews out tonight, but it should still be a game we have to battle hard to win. Last game until the all-star break, Hawks want payback, I've got a bad feeling.

Although we seem to fall flat after back to back games, I have a good feeling about picking up 2 points tonight against a less than 100% Hawks squad. Lets bring home some points!

We are 2-4-0 in the back half of back-to-back games. A grim stat, but it is what it is.

That lineup for them looks like ****. We should be ready to play, no excuses. No Toews, sharp, bottom pair or 4th line. We are a deeper team right now, are getting better goaltending right now, have much more forward depth right now. not saying chicago can't win, but I expect to win this game.

We need a win in regulation to make the standings a bit more interesting. A regulation win by the Preds and Pens tonight and things look VERY good heading into the break.

eh, that's always been the case for him. Same deal with his best comparable in Holmstrom. If he's ever being relied on to create offensive plays, then he's being used wrong. Unfortunately, that's been EXACTLY the case this year at times. He doesn't really fit our current style of play. He needs to be on a line with 2 skilled puck possession players, who he can create space for. He's a valuable complementary player have, but we don't have anyone to complement him with.

I assume the usual back-to-back game goalie switch need not apply tonight with the lengthy break after the game? Rinne presumably?

Considering it's Chicago, I don't see a reason why Rinne wouldn't play.

Everything I've seen points to Rinne ... Trotz said it's up to Rinne and you know he wants to be in there.
