A dominant win? I'd settle for an ugly, just barely squeezed by win, especially with us still missing two of our top three centermen.

If Backes starts acting up with Geno, Engo needs to step in.

This will be a real test of where we're at. STL has a crazy-good D and goalie depth (although we get Elliot tonight which lately is preferable to Halak), and they are physical. While they don't have a super-star, they do have guys that are very skilled so if we can play a full 60 against these guys and win, that is a very good sign. They're better and a tougher test than all of the teams we play in the east with the exception of Boston, maybe New Jersey IMO.

Gonna be a tough one for sure. I hope Malkin & Neal can continue their push for 40 apiece, and I would love if Vitale scored the opening goal. I also won't be surprised if we get shut out. Hope it doesn't go that way, but won't be surprised.

Tangradi: 12 games. 0 goals. 0 assists. Minus 5. Maybe he isn't the 2nd coming of Kevin Stevens.

Well at least MacIntyre can be completely useless and provide absolutely nothing to the team instead.

I'm sorry, but this team has done wrong by Tangradi...

The guy has done everything asked of him, the numbers just aren't there yet due to the line he is on. I was at the game Sunday and tried to pay special attention to his play...the kid was skating well, making smart/simple plays, getting to the front of the net, throwing the body around often...what else do they want from him on the 4th line?

The development of Tangradi, or lack thereof, is not the most encouraging sign from the organization with guys like Bennett and Kuhnhackl on the way.

I don't think anyone said he was & he is still 22 years old. Not to mention for some reason or another the coaching staff does not like him.

At least Mac can choose the right time to fight, and doesn't have as high a chance of losing the fight as Tangradi

Tangradi has had several great chances and dropped the gloves twice i believe.

I just don't get this move unless he's injured.

I completely agree. Guy was getting shifts sometimes as short as 6 seconds & played with almost no talent. He still created scoring chances but apparently that's not enough.

Macintyre: 10 games played. 0 goals. 0 assists. Even. Just sayin...

Maybe Bylsma doesn't want a repeat of the assault that idiot Stewart laid on the guy from the Wings last night, all over a perfectly legal check?

Fleury in net. Still doesn't guarantee a win, but better than Johnson

Alright.. nobody complain about Tangradi being scratched for a useless plug.. cause that means you think he's Kevin Stevens and just believing the "hype".

Good lord.

The kid got scratched for one game, where DB clearly wants a legit heavy (who's not a d-man) in the line-up to match up with Reaves.
