Christensen Recalled a Day Early

Per Zipay, and the AHL Transactions page.

His conditioning assignment was set to expire after today and he would have needed to be recalled tomorrow anyway.

EC posted 2 goals and 1 assist in his 5 games up there.

EDIT (adding my thoughts) - This guy has no place in the Rangers lineup IMHO, or at least he shouldn't but we all know that Torts likes using him. I think Sather needs to start looking now if he has any value around the league, or hope he can use him as a throw in as part of another deal. Otherwise there's no use in waiving him because of the veteran limit in Hartford...maybe start looking overseas to see if he can play out his contract in Europe.

ok now waive him back down or get Wolski to take the 2 week conditioning stint

no need for both sitting around

I keep seeing this. I'm under the impression that Torts hates using EC. Nothing in his game fits Torts or the system.

Hopefully they'll waive him so he can stay down there. Wolski is a much better option if somebody gets injured, IMO.

3pts in 5games at the AHL level, waive him and send him the ECHL. This guy sucks.

Seriously, the deadline is coming soon, hold him until then. Move him if you can. If not, waive him and keep him as a depth player. He's gone next year.

I wonder if he's headed to Columbus for Vaclav?
