I hope it works out for him and the Jackets.

Howson had Yakupovs jersey made up for him already and he noticed that they won they're last game. They needed to be stopped. Brett Lebda is the best man for the job.

Aaaannnd Lebda already has his first goal as a Jacket.

Means nothing, but it's pretty funny.

If they really wanted to tank they would trade for Price
Khabibulin .918SV% > Price .914%.

Does this mean maybe Tyutin or Nikitin is getting traded for picks/prospects to a contending team?

Where is this coming from? They arent going anywhere. Think Prospal Vermette Clitsome and maybe even Carter.

It means that Wisniewski and Martinek are injured and we don't want to rush our D prospects (Savard, Goloubef, etc.). We already have Moore playing a ton of minutes each night.

Plus, Lebda looked alright tonight. He scored a goal and isn't noticeably bad (that doesn't say much given the Jackets defense).

That makes sense then. Sorry I only got half way through page one and didnt want to go through 4 pages of Leafs/Wings fans trolling.

And he was plus one when the rest of his team let in 4 goals.

He must be really showing off for his new team.

It's a common phenomenon for the Blue Jackets. Someone (anyone) brought in who is new to the organization does well because they have not been negatively influenced.

Seriously, it's a real thing. Guys who come in from other organizations seem to have hustle and some spark. Then, that spark dies and they kind of just phone it in. I'm glad Prospal and Nikitin haven't gone down that path yet.
