I would've liked to have seen Hall's quick release in the shoot out, but whatever. 3 out 4 points in back to back games against SJ and Vancouver (with the tail end being on the road) ain't bad at all.

I'd like to see Hall do what Edler did.

Good game otherwise. We showed we can compete. Just some changes to the shootout choices, Hall needs to use that wicked shot of his more too. SJ I really don't count, the better team lost that game.

I get to listen to Canucks fans run their mouths all night now. Lovely.

Maybe he's simplified his game in light of the suspensions. He's a big dude; he can push around just about anybody without resorting to dirty tactics.

Horcoff has a great shootout %. Gagner and Eberle failed the team as much as Horcoff did

Great effort tonight. Dissapointed they lost but no passengers tonight. Gave it everything they had.

I actually liked Whitney tonight. Clearly needs a couple games to get things back in order, but I have to say his first pass is really special.

If Horcoff had won the shootout going fivehole, the PGT title would have been "Uncreative Horcoff Doesn't Go Top-Shelf Backhand, Scores Fluke Goal".

The most disappointing player out of all this-Paajarvi. This summer, he needs some test shots to increase his aggression.

Unless you think it's a brilliant idea to have tons of young prospects to be playing very few minutes in the NHL as opposed to playing tons of minutes in the AHL.

Yeah! Aren't you smart. What was I thinking? Of course MPS and Lander are going to develop their offensive game much faster playing 3rd and 4th line minutes and getting next to no minutes on the PP while playing in the NHL as opposed to playing on the top line in the AHL and logging tons of time on the top PP unit.

WHAT WAS I THINKING?

What were you thinking? Run back into your corner, troll.

Come back out of it when your team has been rebuilding for over a decade and if you like, I'll throw some snot-nosed comment your way without backing it up.

Seriously. MPS was setting up assists while in the AHL, but the goals still were not coming for him. It makes no sense for him to be playing in the AHL. It was nice that he got three shots on net tonight, but again nothing went in the net.

How many stupid decisions does Renney have to make before the media starts telling people to worry about the future of these kids?

He was also 56% in the faceoff circle...but that doesn't matter right?

No, they probably would've made it "Some stranger wearing a Horcoff jersey beats Luongo to win the game 3-2"

You mean like what Nilsson used to do?

Actually, to be honest, Rowbear was very effective in the shootout with that move. I would not mind Hall learning that.

To be fair, Eberle made a great move, that was one heck of a save.

Damn unpredictable Oilers almost killed all off my vcash.

Good moral victory tonight and keeping in focus areas of weakness.

Eberle and Gagner failed us too.

I guess you could say Dubnyk did too.

Stupid title.

I hope that Paajarvi goes back down when Nuge is back after the All-Star break.

Absolutely, The Oil and the D are noticeably better with him in the line up. Even if not at 100%.
