Guy looks like Jesus Quintada from The Big Lebowski.

Hopefully they make an example of him.

" That creep can roll"

"Yeah, but he's a pervert"

"Yeaaaah"

"No. He's a sex offender. With a record! Did 6 months in Chino for exposing himself to an 8-year-old"

The sad thing is that dirtbag pos scum of the earth was getting skeed when Neal was in the Marines doing combat missions in Iraq

I agree with this... there are plenty of Rangers fans in the central jersey area (more than you realize). As a matter of fact, I saw a number of people wearing ranger jerseys today. I hate how people make dumb statements regarding where the fans are... who cares? don't stoop down to their level...

I'm glad that they got the guy.

Horrible story

I agree with those that say it could happen anywhere. I have been to many different games east and west coast as home, away or neutral supporter and last Thursday was the worst I saw and by a Ranger fan. Absolutely disgusting behaviour towards two women who didn't once turn around, racist and sexually charged behaviour including reaching over to grab. I know it was one person and so won't taint my view of all fans. I have met some great Rangers fans, but remember all teams have bad apples.

I was in Toronto for the weekend for the game. Had an exceelent time despite the frigid weather. The fans up there are seriously top notch. EVERYTHING in Toronto is Hockey. From the second you get off the plane and go through the airport, to the cab rides to the waiters and waitresses. Great place, great time. But back to the fans...I never once felt even uncomfortable. Rather, people would approach us everywhere we went to talk hockey. I told one guy that Mitchell is growing on Rangers fans, and he was dubbed a name on the internet of Johnny Malkin. Guy loved it! Everyone also asked about Avery.

But...while nothing happened to me and my friends, there was actually a shooting in my hotel. There was some Toronto Rapper's party up on the top floor. Bars close early in Toronto, so after some post game partying at Finn McCool's we headed back to the hotel. Little bit of a wierd scene as there were alot of thugs hanging around waiting for thier limos, Caddy escalades etc. We hopped in an elevator with a few of them. They told us about the party and invited us up there. So we went in. A little bit of a weird feeling, as my buddy and I were the only two white guys in the place. But...I have no predjudice in me, and we hung for a bit. It was pretty cool. Later though the next day we learned of the shooting as it was the number 1 topic at the hotel. It happened earlier than when we were there. Guess bad things can happen anywhere? The Westin was also the same hotel the players stayed in. My buddy ran into Staal at a restaurant. Believe he was with his wife.

2 videos on this page. 1st is an interview with Auricchio, 2nd down below is a story about everything that happened, probably a little older and it may have already been posted on here. Apologize if that's the case.

He was basically attacked completely unprevoked, that's the thing that is still so disturbing to me.

While this whole situation sucked and the dude definitely did NOT deserve what happened to him, what Viteri's lawyer says is right... It really was just a fist-fight between two groups of hockey fans. Did it need to be that brutal? No, of course not. Were the ranger fans out-numbered? Yes. But at the end of the day, it was just another fist fight. I've seen this kind of crap happen in high-school back in the day. What DOES make me sick to my stomach is that this Viteri jag-off is still on the streets DESPITE all of his prior arrests! Drug abuse/posession, robbery, chasing a man down with a shot-gun?! Are you effing kidding me?! Put this guy away ffs.

Toronto is such a great city, and especially for hockey as you've just said. On Leafs game days you can tell everyone's in the zone.

Well, now I almost feel guilty. I thought they could do with all the help they could get, and got the family a little something from the registry. Those sweet people actually took their time to write a thank you note. (I know it's the right thing to do and all, but this was just a little something from a fellow fan, so I wouldn't expect it at all).

Sending that to Norway probably cost close to the value of what I got them, so I suppose I should've spent a bit more if I wanted to help out.

Glad to hear that the little family appears to be doing alright.

He's a pretty ****** lawyer if the basis of his argument is "It was just a fist fight"

Not really. I'm sure his argument is going to be that you hit me and I hit you but I'm bigger and tougher so I beat you up. That's not my fault. And if you were outnumbered 10-1 that's not my fault either.

There's too many people (and evidently pictures) that saw this happen to deny that his client did it.

I think he knows a little more about the law than you do.
