His family lives in San Jose. Why wouldn't he be in a Sharks Jersey?

Insulting. Why would the Wings do this? Kronwall alone could get Selanne and then same, let alone giving up a great shut down defenseman for the playoffs. Hey, here's one.

Sharks have five defencemen under contracts, so I believe they haven't got room for another +3 mln guy...we should trade Lydman somewhere and go hard for Stuart in July, if he will be available...

This proposal has no sense for Ducks and Wings...why we should trade Visnovsky for two future UFA if we won't play in play-off? Of course Kronwall is untouchable for Detroit, so it's not gonna happen...forget about it...

That doesn't change the fact that he has no value at all to a non-playoff team. It's like selling your shovel to rent a snow-blower for June. Sure the snow-blower's better but you're not gonna use it and when winter comes you have to go out and buy a new shovel.

You have a lot more time to resign him and since he wants to play on the west coast you have a better chance than 28 other teams of signing him
