No but i would like to see him up next if an injury should occur. The problem is WW is in the way. Now even so it wont take more than one bad game of WW to get a call up maybe Zucc take his place.

To illustrate his talent and ability, heard last night during the win over the Jets:

"Hagelin is playing very well tonight. Every line he has been in tonight has been good" after being shifted through the 1st, 2nd and 3rd line during the match

Ohw, and 1 thing that cracked me up was this on NHL.com:

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=613736

Quote:
Hagelin, taken in the sixth round (No. 168) of the 2007 Entry Draft, has eight goals, 16 points and a plus-13 rating in 29 games this season. He's spent most of the season on a line with center Derek Stepan and right wing Marian Gaborik.

It's like they're trying to downplay his success by saying it's his linemates who are doing it for him... He's played, 3 games with those two?

It started against the Penguins. Afterwards we only played the Bruins and Jets. So that makes 3

Really annoying.

plus-13.

Its a paradox. But its annoying. Plus minus 13 is what it looks like, and that's just stupid.

Plus 13 or +13 dang it.

Hate you guys but I was hoping Hagelin got the nod. He's so fun to watch.

Nah, we're not mad. Or at least I'm not. Wouldn't want them hurting themselves further.

Yeah I don't suspect anyone's actually mad at this. Just found it funny that the Devils had two guys selected to go and they both can't go.

Yeah, I hear you. It does suck because we have no one going there.

I hope Hagelin is in the fastest skater competition. He is like a lightning bolt out there.

I dont think he really need to add too much weight, if he does more so in the legs so he can be even faster lol. just a great suprise to see this kid this year. It should be fun to watch him fly in the rookie game.
he has an element of shiftiness along the boards that makes up for his relative small size. even the toughest d-men have fits with him. actually in person, he isn't that small but for some reason he looks small on the ice. Ive seen zuc in person too. he can pass for my brother in 5th grade.

Didn't even realize Hagelin was scoring at the same pace that Stepan did last year. Pretty impressive given the fact that he seems to play on a different line every night. I was skeptical of his offense translating at this level, but he's been playing very well. Reminds me a bit of Pascal Dupuis.

Actually, they just saw a blur and assumed it was Hagelin's fast skating, not some utility third liner shifting into another dimension during most of his shifts.

Don't get too crazy... he's close to Donald Brashear speed, though.

I want to see Gaborik vs. Hagelin vs. Kreider at the speed competition.

That is exactly who he reminds me of. Great comparison.

Miller was going to go to UND but he decided to play at Plymout in the OHL instead

Is the prospect info (ELCs, eligibility, etc.) in the NHL CBA?

I want to read it, but the current one will be expiring soon, so I'll wait for the new one.
