In other words, he's out for the season

Wth all these injuries, someone needs to get blamed eventually.

Who is training this team ?

I really don't get this, but whatever.

Where is Markov? Any update at all? Wasn't the last update in early December?

I say we re-hire our trainer from 2007-2008, he was the best!

I find it massively frustrating.

He had arthroscopic surgery 6 or 7 weeks ago. Makes no sense for a guy to be off skates that long from minor surgery. Either somebody is lying about the surgery or there are other issues other than the knee?

He was at full throttle getting ready to play, practising with full contact, then had a minor surgery, why could he not start skating 7-10 days later and already be back?

Agreed. Something just doesn't seem right.

Still thinking he doesn't play this year - hope I'm wrong.

I heard he will go skiing this weekend to see if his knee can keep up. If it does he will be back against Buffalo

I feel exactly the same way. I don't hold PG responsible for Markov's unforeseen problems, but I DO hold him responsible for treating his company's customers -- the fans -- like we're friggin' infants. It's like he's afraid to talk in front of the children. It seems obvious that SOMETHING'S wrong with Markov's supposed recovery and there's an entire fan base starving for an update. If Gauthier is honest and comes clean about a complication, a downturn, whatever, he'll at least have earned our trust, even if the news is bad. But this continued withholding of all information demonstrates disrespect for us and poor management skills. Like it or not, people expect transparency. We're not getting it from him.

I still maintain he won't be back at all this season and at this rate I would honsetly say next season is quite possibly touch and go also. I know from past experiance about knee injuries but ya that personal experiance was quickly dismissed as me just having horrible surgeons etc which is a total crock but again what do I know lol. Markov is not coming back and not anywhere near where he was and won't last long once he is back.

I don't get the prognosis on Markov why can't they just tell us he will be back next year as they are saying with Gionta (although I've heard him say he wants to be back before end of season). Timeline for return for Markov was 4-6 weeks , it's been 7 pushing 8 weeks and he isn't even skating , this is just beyond ridiculous.

Everything is fine, he just needs a 17th surgery to clean up debris, he'll be out 3-4 more weeks.

The secrecy from PG is a joke.

Is there any chance all of the silence from all parties is because of litigation? I mean how often has this kind of thing happened with a player whereby you sign them to a contract based on information from doctors I suppose. Then he doesn't play a game until ??????? Wouldn't there have to be some discontent between parties? I don't know...............

Who is paying Markov ATM - insurance or the Habbies?

Gionta is done for the season, unless some miracle happens. My girlfriend's mom treated him at the general. He has a torn bicept, out minimum 4 to 5 months

Gauthier said Markov wouldn't be back before the all-star break.

It's the all-star break and he's not back....so relax, things are right on schedule.

Where's Markov?

Seriously...where is he?

2011...where's Markov? (collects $5.75mil)
2012...where's Markov? (collects $5.75mil)
2013...where's Markov? (collects $5.75mil)
2014...where's Markov? (collects $5.75mil)

It's a very tough life when you have to do rehab every season while collecting $5.75mil/season.

My girlfriend is a nurse and they are held to the same standards as doctors when it comes to non-disclosure. So you are probably lying.

Before someone else does it, i think i will.

Ok we get it, now this obsessive repetitive type post is becoming highly annoying.
