I love Moen, and wouldn't mind if we resigned him, but he can easily be replaced on the open market, so if you can get a decent offer, example 2nd round pick. July 1st you give someone like Prust 1.5M. Prust,2nd round pick>Moen type thing.

he's basically exactly the type of player every team with cup ambitions wants to add down the stretch
- great work ethic/attitude
- tough, prototypical "canadian" player
- cup winning experience

I can't see a team giving up a 1st for him. A 2nd is very possible and maybe a mid level prospect to go with it. A SJ or Van 2nd would be very late so I'd ask for a 2nd in 2012 and a 3rd/4th in 2013 maybe.

Habs got number one ranked penalty kill in NHL...Moen is a big part of that.
Moen has 111 mins of Pk ice time so far this year.

The only guy that could fetch us a 1st IMO is Kostitsyn if the Habs decide to move him. Moen, I'm hoping it's a 2nd

I disagree with this. I don't think it's that easy to replace Moen on the open market. These kind of players are in high demand. I wouldn't want to trade Moen unless it's at least a 2nd rounder. Unless of course he's not planning on restaying in MTL.
You will never get a 1st round draft pick for anyone for Moen and/or Gill, remember, Gill was traded for a 7th round draft pick from Toronto to Pittsburgh and Moen is young but this is a contract year and he is playing above average.
