If he decides to go somewhere I only hope that it's Boston.

I've been saying this for months. Teemu has been saying, "I enjoyed my time in Winnipeg." Which is the hockey equivalent to, "Lets just be friends."

I do as well, but that's because I'm hoping we can steal Hamilton.

It pains me to even think about, but what do you think we could get for him at the deadline? 1st+ good prospect? +?

Exactly. He loves the city. He's just not IN love with the city.

That doesn't mean the city can't get some "benefits".

It'd feel so weird though. I hate Detroit too much. If Selanne helped them win a cup I wouldn't know what to feel.
Better Detroit than San Jose. I couldn't stomach Teemu helping either the Sharts or Kinks winning the Cup.

Hee! And yet Winnipeg fans keep stalking him telling him, "But it would be soooo magical!"

Detroit has nothing to offer in a hypothetical trade, no ones wants any of their 5 ft euro soft prospects

I hate their whole, "it would be a great ending to his career." or "It would bookmark his career perfectly".

That is what they said about Teemu.

You may want to look at their list of prospects before blurting out such nonsense. Did you catch the world Juniors? Notice the roster in Grand Rapids or see Sheahan at Notre Dame?
