Speaking of the ASG - I'm thinking that the Captains are going to conspire, and pick Kessel last again. At least this time, he'd get a car for the humiliation.

Who do you think will get picked last?

Would be hilarious if Kessel was last, I'm sure Burke would lose his **** again.

Realistically I can see someone like Pominville or Hartnell going last.

Perhaps Lupal will be in on it.

As Lynk says, Burke would probably lose his **** - that alone would be worth it.

If I am picking the team's Scott Hartnell is my last pick. He is not built for an ASG . It'll for sure be between Benn, Eberle, Pominville or Hartnell, IMO. I personally love the draft, I think it's fun for everyone.

Ranger fan here. I know I'm a few days late on saying this, but I was at the Ranger game against you guys and even though the atmosphere was dull, there were many loud Jet fans there. I was able to tell because the True North chant in your national anthem. Pretty cool.

This team hasnt really done anything in January that warrants them deserving a "rest"

Sure, better that and avoid potential injury than play in a meaningless game.

Nobody gets hurt in an ASG. There's never even any hits. It's just for fun. Although I can see ****** Phaneuf trying to throw one.

That's awesome. Probably alot of tourists, though my understanding is that there's a fairly sizable contingent of Winnipeg ex-pats living in NYC, moreso than other big US cities. There are a couple that I've seen posting on HF.

Fair enough, but I don't EVER recall somebody getting hurt in an ASG and I don't see that changing. The odds are so far against it when compared to watching a Jet in the game, I'd rather have a Jet in the game.

Unfortunatly D have to go by round 15. Would love to see him go in round 15 as the last D though, unfortunatly Lupul will prob get him on the team I am REALLY cheering for in the Chara team (huge Chara fan here )
