I suppose so. As far as major English media outlets go (TSN, ect...) they've been pretty level-headed and objective on Subban and have also been pretty quick to dismiss Subban rumors. I think the only reason a lot of it comes up is because of how much French media/Montreal fan base have discussed it.

Brunet is a very good journalist that everyone here (who speaks French I suppose) should follow.
He's always defended Timmins (he has talked to him often regarding his work which he seems to be a fan of), he's been defending PK, Price, and almost always has a very fair, balanced and down-to-Earth opinion.

I have to admit this is the first year he's actually been tolerable. He isn't criticizing Andrei constantly now either. He's actually giving him credit where it's due.

I don't recall Gaston Therrien on draft day gushing over these two guys over the guys the Habs drafted, the same way I recall Therrien blasting the Gallagher pick even though he didn't know who he was and all because he was drafted over future superstar Jonathan Brunelle.
