It was good to hear that Alain Berger is back playing for the Bulldogs with a fight first game back.Perhaps he could be the enforcer the Habs need,a guy that's big enough and can also play and score.

I don't think we need an enforcer on the team.

White, Blunden, Moen, Bourque can all take care of buisness and are hockey players to boot.

Last week was Berger's first game back, since then he was a healthy scratch but then Avtsin got injured and Wahl was re-assigned. I don't see Berger as a future enforcer at all and he needs to adjust to the speed of the game and improve his skating/foot speed mobility.

I don't he is an "enforcer" from what I saw...more of a big physical guy who will ocasionally drop the gloves.

I hope Berger can improve...I liked what I saw out of him in Jrs. With better skating I think he can become a gritty version of Darche with a better shot...a bottom line guy who contributes offensively with screening and garbage goals, and also a willingness to drop the gloves if he has to.

I absolutely hate writing off prospects as young as Berger, but he's going to need massive improvement to be an NHLer. He's shown very, very little in the AHL to this point.

Agreed, I hate to write off prospects that young as well and he's got time to adjust as it's still early in his pro development, but he hasn't shown anything at the AHL level so far.

Berger's had a terrible year so far. No other way to describe it.

Looks like tonight could get interesting, Dogs will be looking for revenge from last week and they sorely need the points.
