These are the lineups I came up with based on the picks. Who is better?
Team Chara
Gaborik - Datsyuk - Hossa
Kane - Malkin - Perry
Lupul - Seguin - Kessel
Benn - Eberle - Iginla

Chara - Timonen
Suter - Campbell
Phaneuf - Wideman

Thomas
Price
Howard

Team Alfredsson
Michalek - Spezza - Alfredsson
D. Sedin - H. Sedin - Giroux
Neal - Stamkos - Pominville
Hartnell - Tavares - Couture

Karlsson - Weber
Letang - Girardi
Yandle - Edler

Lundqvist
Quick
Elliot

Chara's team looks to have a clear advantage imo.

I visited the main NHL thread, and the forum crowd was complaining loudly about the ASG draft crowd being too rowdy and making the event unwatchable.

Team Chara has a big advantage at forward and a slight edge in net. Team Alfredsson likely has the better defense for a game like this - all-out offense, no hitting. If there's a vBookie event, I'd go with Team Chara but I'm not sure how they'd make the odds for that.

Chara's team is the ****.

I mean that in a good way.

Although, on first glance it seems they have a lot of right-handed players on it...

I only watched a little of the draft, but what I found ironic is that every few weeks or so we see a thread on the main boards calling Winnipeg out as being classless for booing the other teams during a game.

And people in Ottawa are booing during an All-Star draft?

Agree that the crowd was annoying. Could barely hear lupel.

Wish someone would have picked something unpredictable. Like Chara taking a senator or Alfie picking a bruin. Could have guessed these teams more or less before the draft

I thought there was supposed to be representation of each NHL club? Anyway, I hope Chevy looks at this as a kick in the teeth, we have no all-star worthy players and it's his job to bring some here.

Or maybe the Jets fans who didn't care enough to vote a player in.

Skills competition is tomorrow and ASG on Sunday.

I missed half of the draft since I had no idea it was on either. Only tuned in because I saw this thread. (Thanks Holden )

I called my fiancee "Bro" the other night and she replied with "I'm not your Bro, I'm your fiancee" (she was joking, she wasn't really mad or anything )... then, she called me Bro.

Keep it up Bro, she'll eventually get used to it.

She actually likes it, I think. She's used the Bro term quite a bit the last few days.

I call my girlfriend bro a lot and she doesn't really flinch. I need to start being called a bro, though. No brospect around here.

I think the more you keep saying it the quicker you will receive the return.

Plus if you use it as often as you can toward her in a public setting possibly around your friends and hers it will send a shock to the brain that she needs to reciprocate.

Just my personal findings anyways.

I voted 30 times for Jets players and urged fans on here to vote but obviously it didn't work. I guess if Buff was healthy he would be in the game. Oh well, maybe Chevy can land Parise (wishing & dreaming)

I think Santa Lucia is a favourite among lots of people. I'm not sure personally though, I've never gone there.
