Johnson's wrestling is much better, can be attributed to being part of Team Blackzilian. Roller doesn't look like more than a club fighter right now honestly, harsh but true.

Is it just me or does anyone else want to pronounce it Holler at first when they read Shane Roller because of all of the Brazilian pronunciations?

Wow. Tons of punches to the back of the head, good job by Herb Dean.

EDIT: Good job not stopping the fight and warning Roller, I meant.

As for Beltran, he needs to fight a brawler with no chin, that's where he shines. Wouldn't surprise me to see him drop another 20 pounds and try his hand at 205 either.
I don't see what he has to offer at 205, which is a much tougher division. He's a fringe UFC'er at either class though, and I don't he survives once the HW's from Strikeforce continue coming over.

Roller's just looked dreadful lately. His takedowns look telegraphed and sloppy and he has limited standpoint ability. Drop to 145 or its cuts-ville for him.

High five.

I forgot he was coming in on short notice though, that might account for some of it. I mean, Roller's no world-beater but those first two rounds were some of the worst I've ever seen from him.

He's just not very good. And now he's in love with his "power". I just figured he has to be better than Johnson.

gonna be a bad night for me. Nice KO by Swanson though. Gotta love the mouthguard ejection.

Hasn't been a great night of picks for me so far and I had trouble picking this card, but I had little doubt Swanson would finish Roop. Great KO.

Well the guys at 205 hit a lot less hard and he may be able to brawl with a lot more guys at that weight class. But I do agree that he's a fringe guy at best at either weight class. He's basically a big Leonard Garcia.

Yeah, but he's not good enough to beat anyone at 205 and can compete when he fights below average guys at HW. So he's more Fedor than Garcia

Mike Russow got one.

But seriously, I'm guessing the poster thought Oliveira's sub was a twister?

He's probably referring to the Mike Russow backstage video of him eating 10 KFC twisters to train for the fight.

Seriously though, that was one of most boring fights ever. I never thought I'd be looking forward to the Nik Lentz fight coming out next.

Russow's gotta get in better shape.

Y'know I'll give Lentz credit, he's had some dreadful fights in the past but he seems to have taken criticism to heart and tried to be more active lately.

This one's not going well for him though.
