@matdwyer over the past 20yrs, no team has gone perfect on the PK in a single month

Looks like our Leafs coached by PK legend Ron Wilson have a chance to break a penalty kill record by not allowing a PK goal in a calendar month, if we can get by those pesky Pens tomorrow.

Doesn't help our PK% that much, but props to the guys for getting it done. If your PK sucks, don't take penalties!

The part that sucks is that even if we don't allow a PP goal tomorrow, we still might be 30th. Shows how bad we did in first 3 months.

that would be epic..not to diminish the feat but we havent had many penalties the past month..but still its very impressive considering the way the season started and the loads of pressure that was on the team by the fans and media regarding the pk

Very important to not get penalties then they had 2 in a 4-3 loss to us Oct 30th

Laying down a fresh 20 right now that with 2 minutes left in a 6-0 win, Dupuis puts on a Leaf jersey and runs on the ice. We get a penalty for delay of game and Malkin blast one through the leafs a hole.

We're facing a Pens team that have won something like 7 straight and they've got some above average PP guys. Leafs better show up prepared tomorrow.

We've been doing great, PKing is working well, but most importantly, we've managed to take very few penalties in most of the January games, which is pretty impressive.

Really? Both games in non-HD for me because Rogers wants me to pay an extra 10 bucks a month to get them in an HD package with a bunch of HD channels I don't want?

I get LeafsTV in HD, Sportsnet in HD, CBC in HD, but Rogers has to blackball Bell's TSN by not giving them in HD, even with a premium package.
