This is what good teams do to open up passing and shooting lanes and be less predictable. But they dont have to park themselves there permanently. All that does is negate the extra man as a passing option and help the penalty killers cover 5 guys with 4.

We need CONSTANT MOVEMENT through the slot and all around the zone. Make the penalty killers THINK. The way we play the PP right now, the PKers could defend it in their sleep.

I think the other offer (Dubi, AA, Thomas, 2 #1s) is more along the lines of what it would take.

I am not saying we should do it, I just think that making AA the centpeice of a deal for a young/proven 35 goal scorer is dramatically over estimating his worth.

There's 2 too many pieces in that deal. It'd be Dubi, AA, and a 1st/Thomas. Not both, and certainly not 2 1sts.
