And don't give me Carter, that was months later. I know Setoguchi was traded this offseason shortly after signing a deal. However, I don't think that was planned. To me, a "sign and trade" means signing a player SO THAT you can trade him.

I should also note that I think there is a massive difference between signing and trading a RFA versus an UFA.
