Any news on your starter? Miller or Enroth?

I predict a shutout for Carey, 3-0 and I prefer Motts Garden cocktail, the zesty version, but yeah V8 is also good.

If Price plays backwards... we'll win 4-1, if not we'll win 4-3.

If they really want to try and pull a 0.700 sheet until the end of the season, I say let them. But I really hope they drag the weights and tank fast if they ever realize it's definetly out of their reach.

Buffalo started 5-1 and now they are worse than us. And we thought the Habs were in disarray.

Man if we can't win tonight in our barn then it really is over. Sure I've probably said that 16 times this year but this game really is "it".

I was there the last time they played each other at the Bell Center, damn I was mad because they left a two goal lead.

This matchup beautifully illustrates what's gone wrong for the Habs this year.

Habs: 14th in goals for, 12th in goals against, goal differential without shootouts +2
Sabres: 25th in goals for, 26th in goals against, goal differential without shootouts -31

Those two clubs really shouldn't be near each other in the standings. So many goal-one losses...

Habs need to get the jump on the leafs and other teams in the trade department, if they want to make some kind of splash at the playoff run.
Rest asured, other teams won't be waiting till trade deadline.

Don't count the Sabres out. Bottom line is that if we don't show up, we lose this game.

It's funny I think this thread needs a little Mathman optimism about regressing to the mean

This team had a rocky start, it's also been a weird schedule this year imo. Gaps with no games, just a sluggish season overall, hard to find momentum. New coach, change in the system, new players, young players. I have a gut feeling this team might actually be able to turn things around and this game will be the deciding point. If Buffalo wins they turn their season around, if we win we do. I just have a gut feeling. We played well our last couple games, our team is finding some offensive magic. Price will be pretty relaxed after the big break. If we can pull off this win we'll have 3 straight. It can be the catalyst for our turn around and we can fight back into 8th beat Toronto out into 9th and salvage a season out of this.

Don't get me wrong, if we tank you won't see me missing any games but I still believe in this team. I've seen a lot of good things recently, some players are maturing, vets picking up the slack. White will be back soon, if we can some how streak up the standings until Markov returns... we could be the dark horse this year. Tonight's game in my eyes is a very important one.
