I'd have to agree with anybody who says Campoli. He's uselss. I'm not sure what he could fetch, a long shot prospect or late pick I guess

He was worth a 2nd last year, should be worth at least a 3rd or 4th. Cripes New Jersey paid a 4th for Alexei freaking Ponakarovsky

I believe it will be Campoli first & then, if anyone, Gill (but I hope I'm wrong). I do believe that AK needs to go before Gill, though.

You see the young, productive winger who has already come out as wanting to take less money to re-sign with Montreal as being more expendable to a team with goal scoring issues than the old, slow, albeit 'great in the room' defenseman hal gill?

Or are you saying we'll get more for one than the other?

I'm saying we have a better chance of getting more for AK than Gill.

The first Hab traded will be Brian Gionta(if healthy) If not then possibly Yanick Weber.

Such random choices, oh well.

Campoli. Gauthier will tell the entire league he is shopping him and only one team will call and offer close to nothing and we will take it, because Campoli is crappy.

History dictates otherwise. Going by past history Gauthier will only have secret trade talks with one team, and only one team, makes a trade, then everyone would be like "what? I had no idea he was up for trade! Damn, if only we knew".

What ?

Montreal would NOT trade their captain like that ! Unreal.

Plus he is out for the season. Must be Gionta is not your favorite Hab, but c'mon be serious at least.

Gionta is gone for the season. He certainly won't be back before the deadline, and he isn't exactly a deadline type of move if he was healthy.

Campoli makes the most sense for us since we have a surplus of defensemen. Gill moves at the deadline and so will Moen. I think Weber would be moved in a larger deal, maybe this summer. I don't think Gionta is going to be moved (makes no sense, he's injured and has a couple years left on his contract). If he gets traded its going to be at next year's deadline if the team is out of the playoffs again.

YOU need the Habs to tank and rebuild from scratch so your future nordiques can beat the crap out of us for a few year.

I'm going to go with nobody. Habs are going to streak (you know, to catch that coveted #8 seed), and when the deadline comes, management is going to stick to their guns and not change. Not complaining, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the dealine come and go with little to no buzz.
