Why? Is it because some find it fun to watch a young player develop?

I see no need to check the tatoo's on my arms ... I never said a bad word regarding Higgins.

You guys shouldn't expect alot from Kosty...until one year or two.

The KID HAS ALL THE TALENT IN THE WORLD. I've seen Kosty play 10+ times like all of ya. Kostitsyn will have success in the nhl, if he finds room to create plays and shoot. Inconsistency could also become a problem. Kost is skilled though I've noticed, he doesn't have a strong mental game. He'll make alot of stupid mistakes but he's going to learn from these mistakes. He's the kind of player that'll lose alot of battles and will have hard time fighting for the puck. Most of the times, you'll see him play and wonder if he's even ECHL caliber. Those are just my thoughts. A bit like Pavel Brendl. When he has the puck, he's really dangerous. He could become a quality pro player if he continues doing the stuff it takes to battle against bigger defencemans.

I'm not saying he's a bust or B.S like that, I'm just saying he isn't really ready!!! Let's hope Kostitsyn becomes the player we wanted him to become. The better for him now would be to get tons of icetime in the NHL and learn. He's also enjoying playing in the AHL for 20+ minutes cause the AHL is where he's gonna learn how to win battles along the boards and create scoring chances.

He'll nothing but improve over the years so that's great.
