When, one day, Mike Comrie returns to E-Town with a different team ... should the Oilers have a game-day promotion????

I think they should, and some ideas off the top of my head:

1. Shiny rock day! Every fan gets a skipping stone as they enter the building (sponsored by Crystal Glass of course)

2. Slingshot day!!! Ahhh ... to be a kid again.

3. Tomato day! (Just supporting the greenhouse growers of Alberta, of course)

Too funny With my luck there would be some guy with a Harold-Baines-type throwing arm 15 rows directly behind me.

Could be worse. Combine the sling shot with the brick? Wouldn't be a pretty night.

Almost makes you feel sorry for Bill Comrie - junior has been a PR disaster for his old man.

Great ideas guys. Can you imagine how loud those boooos are going to be when he steps on Oilers' ice again with a different team.

How about a Mike Comrie bobblehead with guillotine accessory?

Or how loud the cheers are going to be when Jason Smith lowers the boom on him while he tries to toe-drag the puck around the rink.

This would allow us to behead Mike and then throw the headless body at him while he is playing. It's the best of both worlds.

Hey, no one ever said that every single athlete who signs the big contract and plays for your home team is your basic good guy and role model. There are huge A-hole$ in sports (just like anywhere else in life), some you may in fact unknowingly cheer for. Im just glad were purging ourselves of one here.

I'm just wondering if sales at The Brick will decrease, or if a boycott will ensue.

I like the tissue idea.

Rather than boos, everytime Comrie is on the ice, we'll replace it with "WAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!"

man, this Comrie thing is so ridiculous...I would NEVER have thought we'd be doing this to Comrie. That's gotta be a new record, from Golden Boy to Goat in two seasons.

It makes you wonder when the boycott is going to start.

Actually less than 1 - and it all seemed to coincide with the emergance of Hemsky. Me thinks MC does not like to share goldenboy status and wants his own rink again. Just a thought.
